Archetypal Design is led by Fintan Moloney, a senior mechanical design engineer with more than 30 years of experience developing complex mechanical equipment.

Experience includes four years leading an engineering team developing UHV multi-axis sample manipulation systems, together with work in mass spectrometry, semiconductor metrology, atomic force microscopy, nuclear instrumentation, synchrotron equipment and precision handling systems.

The focus is on problems where motion, vacuum, temperature, precision, manufacturability and reliability need to work together.
